Designing General Music Education Curriculum for Science and Engineering Universities: Structure and Practical Strategies

  • 摘要: 采用定量研究和描述研究的方法,通过对568位理工科高校本科生问卷调查和国内外18所普通高校公共音乐课程表的分析,以及对教育部多年来下发文件以及相关文献资料的研究综合,构建由通识、提高、讨论思辨、实践四类课程组成的公共音乐课课程体系,并设计精听、泛听、网络、实践四种音乐教学法改革方案来指导该课程体系实施。

     

    Abstract: This article describes a general music education curriculum, aimed at science and engineering universities, that is structured with four individual but interconnected sections: introductory, advanced, discussion-based, and practical sections. The formulation of this curriculum employed quantitative and expressive research methods: surveying 568 science and engineering undergraduate students, examining general music education programs in 18 top universities in China and abroad, and researching the guidelines and related documents of general art education by the Ministry of Education. Thus, the article further proposes four strategies: detailed analysis, general streaming, internet-based,and hands-on practices, providing guidance in the reform of the current general music education curriculum.
