Abstract: The development of new media has expedited the arrival of omnimedia timel. By policy and market factors, media freedom has expanded and public status upgraded in the process of full integration of new media and traditional media,which tend to weaken the dominant position of government in crisis information dissemination. Meanwhile, backward public ideas, single communication strategy and outdated information release form show that government crisis information release cannot adapt to the time changes. In this paper, the author analyzes the inadequacy in crisis information release under the omnimedia linguistic environment, and suggests to improve from three aspects: to complete Information communication system,strengthen information publishing text,and make full use of diverse kinds of media,then further proposes that government should respect the right to know of the public, make sure disclosure of information, control of information in free communication, and achieve balance between freedom of information and control.
