Abstract: This paper establishes the model which can measure the influence of air transportation industry to the socio-economy. According to the input-output sheet of Beijing in 2007, employing the input-output analysis from four perspectives including immediate economic contribution, backward multiplier effect, forward multiplier effect and consumed multiplier effect, we get the contribution of air transport industry to the socio-economy of Beijing. There is significant contribution of air transport industry to the socio-economy in Beijing.
