Market-oriented Teaching Reform for Software Engineering Practice：A Case Study on the College of Software at BUAA

The traditional course of software engineering practice is out of line with the actual enterprise requirements. The paper proposes a new idea for the teaching reform of software engineering practice which includes the construction and simulation of the practice under the environment of enterprise. Only by this way can universities cultivate market-oriented software engineering talents. The paper describes the market-oriented teaching reform measures from the following four aspects: practice subject, enterprise teachers, development attitude and practical methods.The teaching reform has been implemented since 2012 in the College of Software of BUAA. Good teaching results are obtained and the expected goal of teaching reform is achieved.
