From Thought to Action: Effective Promotion of Corruption Prevention in China

  • China is in the transitional period with many social problems such as corruption. According to the experience of western countries in the process of modernization, the corruption in the transitional period is unavoidable, and it takes pains to eliminate the corruption. To solve this problem, Chinese government has taken some measures, but the effect is not very significant. So it is necessary to study the corruption in China comprehensively and learn from the western countries, particularly those in northern Europe and the United State. It is also important to inherit and develop historical experience, especially the supervisory experience in Han and Tang Dynasty, to learn from the Confucian cultural circle of East Asia in Singapore, South Korea and other countries. China should enforce the rule of law, carry on with the in-depth reform, advocate moral anti-corrosion, strengthen and perfect the relevant special corruption legislation, improve the relevance, effectiveness and maneuverability of the corruption prevention and control.
