Comparative Study on Innovation Performance of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei

Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei is an important economic area in China, but the development of the three places is different, which would lead to "polarization". This paper constructs an efficiency evaluation system to analyze the innovation performance in the recent three years. The output of DEA model suggests that the innovation efficiency of Hebei province was significantly lower than that of the two cities. The reasons for the differences of innovation efficiency are discussed.
