Logical Analysis of "Four-history" Education from the Perspective of Cultivating a New Generation of Young People

  • Under the overall strategic situation of ones in the century changes taking place in the world and realization of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, to carry out "Four-history" education in the whole Party and society is the clear manifestation and inevitable logic of educating people with broad historical vision, strong sense of mission, firm political beliefs and lofty Party consciousness. As the valuable resources for the ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities to cultivate a new generation of young people and the natural materials for the education on ideals, convictions and patriotism in the new era, "Four-history" education is a historical continuation of the excellent education tradition of the Chinese nation and the Communist Party of China. "Four-history" education contains multiple value connotations, such as taking history as a mirror, taking history as a source, taking pride in history, and taking history for action. Taking "Four-history" education as an important starting point to cultivate a new generation of young people, we should adhere to the correct political orientation, adopt rational and scientific dialectical thinking and fulfil the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people.
