Integration of Ideological and Political Elements into the Teaching of Specialized Courses in Colleges and Universities in the New Era: Taking Accounting as an Example

Ideological and political education through all curricula is an important measure for colleges and universities to fulfil the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people, and to improve the "Three-wide Education" under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The new mode of ideological and political eduation in colleges and universities in the new era is essentially to explore fully the ideological and political elements in the teaching of specialized courses. Taking the accounting major as an example, this paper discusses the necessity and implications of integrating ideological and political elements into the teaching of specialized courses based on the characteristics of college students in the new era and the features of the accounting major. It attempts to prove the feasibility of the operation in the future with examples from classroom teaching practice. In addition, it is suggested that ideological and political education and the teaching of specialized course should be pushed forward together and in the same way. It is also imperative to enhance students' recognition and understanding of ideological and political education through all curricula, emphasize the differences in specialized cha-racteristics of ideological and political education through all curricula, and promote the ongoing reform and innovation.
