Disciplinary Violations in Education System under the Background of Full and Rigorous Governance over the Party

  • Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the education system has implemented the requirements of full and rigorous governance over the Party, emphasizing work discipline in areas such as integrity as well as teacher's ethics. Analysis of disciplinary violation cases exposed after the 18th CPC National Congress shows that the problems of disciplinary violations in the education system have been curbed. Primary schools, secondary schools and kindergartens have a high incidence of disciplinary violations, but the cases are gene-rally minor, while higher education institutions have a higher risk of serious corruption, so it is necessary to take measures at an early stage and deal with the minor cases effectively. The financial problems involving the use of funds are the main risk points for disciplinary violations, so it is still necessary to continue to strengthen the supervision and management of the use of funds. In addition, the "top leaders" of the education system units are the main persons responsible for the cases, so it is still essential to focus on the key minority.
