Thoughts on the Working Mechanism of Outer Space Arms Control from the Perspective of International Cooperation

For a long time, the governance structure of outer space security has been out of balance, and the United States has blocked international efforts for outer space arms control in order to maintain its global hegemony. The international negotiations on outer space arms control are at a critical stage, facing the strategic containment and "siege" of the United States. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the development strategy of China's outer space arms control by attaching importance to international cooperation. In view of the current predicament that China faces in the development of outer space arms control, and based on the existing mechanisms and models of international cooperation in space, the paper proposes ways to strengthen the working mechanism of international cooperation in outer space arms control, such as taking multi-bilateral agreements as the guarantee, and cooperative initiatives as the guide, coordinating military, civil and commercial resources, and maintaining an open and cooperative attitude.
