Overcoming Knowledge Poverty with the Shared Knowledge Production: An Alternative Approach to Promoting Common Prosperity

Common prosperity is the essential requirement of socialism and the important feature of Chinese modernization. Sharing is the key element of common prosperity, and the realization of sharing is helpful to achieve the common prosperity for all people. Previous studies mainly discuss the realization of sharing from the perspective of distribution, but rarely involve sharing in the whole economic process, which cannot effectively solve the problem of knowledge poverty. Shared know-ledge production emphasizes the fundamental position of production and constructs sharing-oriented knowledge ecology, know-ledge production mode and knowledge products. In comparison with the knowledge production scheme of knowledge socialism, shared knowledge can solve the problem of materiality and exclusivity of production, thus making knowledge a key factor in tackling knowledge poverty and promoting common prosperity in all aspects of production, distribution and consumption.
