Abstract
This paper constructs a three-dimensional evaluation index and scale for the international scholarly impact of university teachers, and conducts a sample survey and measurement of the international scholarly impact of teachers from 37 “double first-class” universities in China. Through the structural equation modelling, it makes fitting tests and verifies the three-dimensional structure of the international scholarly impact of university teachers constructed by the study, i.e., international talent training, international scientific research and international social services. The statistical analysis shows that the international scholarly impact of university teachers is low on average, and there exist great differences among individuals. Meanwhile, the international scholarly impact of university teachers is greatly affected by the variables such as their research fields, professional titles, and duration and frequency of their academic visits.
