Construction of Academic Support System for the Cultivation of Major Talents in Colleges and Universities in the New EraTaking Shijia College of Beihang University as an Example

  • A high-quality academic support system for freshmen is an indispensable part of talent education in the colleges and universities. From the perspective of general education, the construction of the freshmen academic support working system is facing many opportunities and challenges. The work of academic support in colleges and universities has problems of lacking of complete document guides, lacking of venue carries, inaccurate diagnosis of academic data of study situation, and low satisfaction of personalized needs etc. Taking Shijia College of Beihang University as an example, this paper explores the work path of academic support guided by “adapting to the life of studying and cognitive education of major selection”, and constructs a working system which can establish academic support institutions in a hierarchical classification way, play the role of “one-stop” student community, determine students’ studying level in a multi-dimensional and multi-level way, and improve core influences of academic supporting projects. With the external force of academic support, students’ internal motive power of active learning can be stimulated, thus help students become self-reliant and self-improvement, and finally achieve the intensive development of all-around growth to become talents.
