Chinese Path to Education Modernization: Connotation, Value and Strategy

  • Chinese path to education modernization is an important part of Chinese path to modernization, and the realization of it is a fundamental project to build China into a great modern socialist country in all respects. It has not only the common features of education modernization in all countries in the world, but also Chinese characteristics in the context of China’s national conditions, and is the concrete expression of Chinese path to modernization in education. Looking back on the glorious history of China’s education development, Chinese path to education modernization has great historical value in cultivating talents, striding forward to an education power, pursuing people first, and developing a quality workforce. It is also historically significant in boosting the country’s strengths in science and technology, and promoting education modernization in the world. The next five years after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be critical for making our efforts to build a modern socialist country in all respects off to a good start. To effectively deal with the great risks and challenges on the path to education modernization, we must firmly grasp the strategic approach of Chinese path to education modernization.
