Progress, Hot Topics, and Development Trends in China's Low-Altitude Economy ResearchAn Analysis Based on Large Language Models and Visual Bibliometrics

Driven by national policies guidance, technological innovation, and expanding market prospects, China's low-altitude economy has entered a golden period of rapid development, creating an urgent need for scientific methods and tools to gain a comprehensive understanding of research landscape and practical evolution in this field. To this end, the study systematically sorts and analyzes the current status, hot topics, and cutting-edge trends in China's low-altitude economy in combination with Large Language Model (LLM) and visual bibliometric methods. The findings reveal that research on the low-altitude economy has grown explosively since 2024 and is primarily clustered around three thematic domains: concepts and characteristics, technologies and applications, and policies and development. Research hotspots include drones, general aviation, industrial chains, and application scenarios, while future research directions are likely to focus on digital and intelligent transformation, green development, security and privacy protection, international cooperation, and standardization. This study not only offers new ideas for conducting systematic and efficient literature reviews, but also provides important reference points and insights into the research landscape and emerging trends in China's low-altitude economy.
