The Price Formation Mechanism Analysis of the Film Tickets Market Based on the Price Theory

  • Price is the most active factor in economy, and the price of ticket is a barometer reflecting the conditions of the whole movie market. Since the 1990 's, the price of ticket in China's movie market has increased almost in geometri c series, but the total volume of the market has decreased continuously. The Chi nese movie market has not been a commodity market in the whole sense, so it is a special one. The factors affecting this include improper system of film managem ent, unhealthy environment of the market and the unfair income distribution that affects the development of the Chinese movie market. It's this special characte r through affecting the curve of demand and supply that plays a role in the form ing of the ticket price in the Chinese movie market.
