A Survey and Analysis of the Staff-s Consciousness on Crisis in Wenchuan Earthquake Area

As a "soft capacity development", the cultivation for crisis conscious ness is a crucial part in building the capacity for emergency. In this paper, th e survey takes the staff from two enterprises in the Wenchuan earthquake area as research objects, exploring their understanding and proficiency of crisis perce ption, prevention and countermeasure. The result reveals that the staff possess preliminary consciousness on daily crisis countermeasure, and have certain consc iousness on emergency patterns and crisis coping for the company and themselves; but integrated crisis consciousness could be upgraded even more. Therefore, gre at efforts shall be made in the means of normalization, practicability and disas ter-concerning community to develop crisis consciousness.
