ON NATIONAL STUDENT LOANS OF AGRICULTURAL COLLEAGES: AN CASE STUDY OF YANGLING DEMONTSATION ZONE

This paper studies national student loans of agricultural colleges taking Yangling Demonstration Zone, the only national agricultural high-tech industry, as an example. National Student Loan of agricultural colleges have many problems, such as:(1)Loans amount is limited; (2) Banks fear loan, students fear borrow;(3)Lending policies lack flexibility,(4)Related departments coordinate ineffective; (5)Defaults were high. Causes of the problems are the followings: (1) Low incomes expections of higher agricultural college students,(2) School loan services ineffectiveness; (3) Government's administrative intervention; (4) A less credit notion from students. Finally some countermeasures are proposes.
