Master Training Program in the Field of Space Technology Applications for Asia-Pacific Region——Research and Practice on the Cultivating Model of Master Program on Space Technology Applications for Foreign Graduates

  • In order to set up the Asia-Pacific Region Education Center, a master program on Space Technology Applications (MASTA) has been developed after researching the cultivating the model of the Regional Centers for Apace Science and Technology Education (affiliated to the United Nations) and the master programs of the International Space University (ISU). There are two stages in MASTA. The first stage is a 9-month core course study. The second stage is (6~24)-month advanced research project. MASTA is designed for foreign graduates and is an application-oriented program with an emphasis on promoting the technology developments in China and has distinct characteristics, such as modularized curricula design, focusing on operation training, etc. MASTA has been highly commended by the international students and their organizations.
