The Application of Three Cultural Introductions in College English Teaching

One of the aims of foreign language teaching is to cultivate the students- communication ability. The three cultural introductions, namely the cultural aside, cultural capsules and cultural clusters, are effective methods to achieve this aim. Through the study of the examples in college English teaching, the paper proved that the three cultural introductions can help students to raise their English level and obtain the cross-cultural communication ability.
