Abstract
Using the view of biological naturalism, Searle tries to explain the problem of free will combining mental states with neurobiology. There are gaps i n the volition action, which can only be explained by the self in the unified fi eld of consciousness. This approach leaves out a crucial problem: how the determ inativeness of the neuron system consists with the gaps.
