The legal problem of aerospace objects has been an important issue discussed by the Legal Subcommittee of UNCOPUOS (Committee on t he Peaceful Uses of Outer Space) since 1995. On the basis of replies from some c ountries to items in the questionnaire issued by the Legal Subcommittee, the aut hor presents a study into the concept, character and attributes of aerospace obj ects and arrives at some explicit conclusions.
