Cognitive Structure of Metaphor and Its Cross-cultural Study

The paper is intended to make a systemic analysis of the cognitive structure of metaphor on the basis of its main classification groups. Differences do exist in the metaphorical expressions in different cultures, but the underlying metaphorical structures are similar. And metaphor is to make use of uncommon lexical collocation to realize creative expression of meaning.
