Temporary Fossilization and Its Pedagogical Implications

Abstract
This paper at first introduces related researches and theories on fossilization in SLA, and then the author lays emphasis on temporary fossilization with the analysis of its internal and external causes. In the end, the author puts forward pedagogical implications of temporary fossilization in four aspects, i.e., teachers, teaching methods, teaching materials and course arrangement, aiming at making some benefits to foreign language education in China.
