Countermeasure of Speeding the Aero-engine Development in China

In this paper, the status-quo of the aero-engine development in China and other countries are analyzed, the causes of the slow development of the aero-engines in China discussed and their countermeasures put forward. The paper points out that the government and its policy, the appropriate development approach, the long-term stable development program, abidance of the research and development rules and the appropriate scientific research system are the essential assurance for China to develop its aero-engines.
