Economic Analysis on Infrastructure Pricing and Urban Scale

  • The dynamic model of urban scale and infrastructure is established in this paper. In market system, how influences on urban scale from different infrastructure pricing is discussed. Therefore, infrastructure priced at marginal or at average cost is analyzed comparatively. Numerical simulation ensures the result from dynamic model: infrastructure priced at marginal cost is good to optimize urban scale and maximize the social welfare. Also, some suggestion for the urban development is given additionally.
