  • In the 7th Central committee of CPC, Mao Zedong announced the "Three-principles" to the world for the first time, and took "serve the people heart and soul, work sincerely for the interests of the people" as the core of "Three-principles". After 57 years, in the Jiang Zemin's speech on the Party's 80th anniversary, he announced the "three represents theory", which emphasized that the Communist Party of China represents the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people and placed the foundation for the CPC to conquer all kinds of hardships and difficulties, and to make new achievements in the future.
