Intellectuals' Morality of Knowledge and Their Reverence to Career

  • The morality of knowledge is the component part of a nation's cultural dispositi on. Raising the concept of intellectuals' morality of knowledge can contribute t o the establishment of a clearer norm in social behavior relevant to knowledge. In this article, the authors discuss the connotation of intellectuals' morality of knowledge and its original relationship with the basic rules of morality. On the basis of these ideas, the authors point out the moral responsibilities commi tted by society, especially to be undertaken by the professional intellectuals i n the creation, transmission and application of knowledge.
