Conflict and Harmonization of Civil Jurisdiction Between the Mainland and Macao

The conflict of civil jurisdiction between the mainland and Macao is interregion al caused by different legal systems under "one country, two systems", which c an be harmonized by means of unilateral approach, direct negotiation and interr egional agreements. In the process of harmonization, the principle of autonomy o f the will, protecting the legality interests of the parties, adjudicating a cas e only once, the most significant contact and consistence of exclusive jurisdict ion should be followed.
