Analysis of the Evaluation System of Teaching Quality in Universities

Abstract
The authors introduce the present evaluation system of teaching qualit y in universities in China from both the practical and theoret ical perspectives and point out that the evaluation system of teaching must be u nderstood scientifically and comprehensively on the basis of practice. After the discussion, the authors reach a conclusion on the basis of the practice of BUAA that a scientific understanding of the evaluation system can ensure a continuou s improvement of teaching quality.
