Reform on the Graduates Selection Mechanism: Supervisors' Viewpoint ——Reflections on a Survey of a Hundred Supervisors

Based on a questionnaire and interviews among one hundred-odd supervisors, this paper deeply analyzes some defects remaining in the course of the present graduates enrollment system. Main issues such as re-examination system, nominated & examination-free criterion and policy-favored candidates are discussed. Some proposals and institutional designs are also offered.
