With the methods of literature review and historical analysis, the thesis discussed evolution processes for the research of the comparative pubic administration in developed countries. Based on the development of the stages with the comparative public administration, the thesis analyzed the current situation and the characteristics for the comparative pubic administration research in developed countries, and at the same time, the author summarized some problems and some improvement paths for research of the comparative pubic administration, especially in the USA.
