  • We use the social network analysis to study the network structure and individual position in employees tacit knowledge transfer in the department of technology application. Then we focus on the effects of some factors about staff on tacit knowledge transfer. The results indicate the network of employees’ tacit knowledge transfer in the department of technology application has weak network cohesion and many workers only play a role of absorbing knowledge, but it has a high efficiency of knowledge transfer. Tacit knowledge transfer happens more often among employees with close friendship, similar working age, different education levels and of high positions. Position has a positive function on knowledge provider’s position. Staff with an extroverted disposition and a short working age learns from more persons.
