Thinking and Exploration on Creative Quality Cultivation of Undergraduates by Using Specialized Foundation Course

"Signal and Measurement Technology" is a specialized foundation course for all undergraduate students in the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering. It covers a wide range of knowledge and has comprehensive and distinguishing engineering characteristics. This paper discusses the existing problems in teaching and aims at strengthening the quality cultivation of undergraduates. The reforming measures and achievements are presented and further direction is investigated to promote quality education so as to improve the sense of creation and the cooperation spirit.
