A Study on the Legislation Issues of Airport Noise Abatement in China

Nowadays, airport noise pollution is serious in China. One of the reasons accounting for this situation is that there are many deficiencies in related legislations, resulting in lack of adequate legal basis in abatement of airport noise. Therefore, in order to control airport noise, the most important thing to do is to arrange existing regulations and establish the legal system of airport noise abatement, using the experience of other countries for reference and combining our national conditions. The legal system of airport noise abatement consists of fundamental principals, basic systems and supporting regulations. Some basic systems, such as making reasonable plan system, airport noise monitoring system, charging for airport noise system and so on, should be established and perfected at first.
