The Analysis on Media Participation of the Public Emergency Management System in China——Based on the Example of the Accident of Flooded Wangjialing Coal Mine

As one of the main parts of the participation mechanism in the public emergency management system, media become more and more important. Looking back the accident of flooded Wangjialing Coal Mine and the follow-ups, we can see the participation of media. In the public emergency management system, the functions of media participation have effected on the public emergency management. However, there are some dilemmas for media. Reflecting the problems from the two dimensions of the media and the governments and some else, we should choose proper means to participate in the public emergency management system better.
