The Principles of Creating A Government Image in Public Relations Crisis: Based on Chile Mine

Government image is playing an increasingly important role as an invisible political resource in the contemporary governance. During the process of public relations crisis, government conduct will have a more profound impact on creating a favorable image of the government. Chile government has carried out a series of management practices to deal with the mine crisis, and this article described the practices at four stages. Based on the analysis, this study suggests that the Chile government has taken a series of effective measures to create a favorable image of the government. It is hoped that these advanced measures will be of use as a source of reference in the image creating of the Chinese government in public relations crisis.
