Strategy in Foreign Language Periodicals Acquisition of Academic Libraries Based on Citation Analysis

This paper used citation analysis as the theoretical basis to choose the academic papers of BUAA mechanical disciplines who are indexed by SCI database as the study object. It analyzed the distribution of journal papers and the distribution of the source of citation, combined the journal interview actual work of BUAA Library and journal impact factors and investigated the priority guarantee level of foreign periodicals, so as to protect the needs of readers' literature to determine the interview strategy of foreign periodicals through paper-based purchasing, electronic subscription, subscription databases and other means.
