An Analysis on the Cultural Ecology Dimension of the Cultural Construction in Contemporary China

The construction of socialist culture needs good cultural ecology. A national cultural ecology consists of mainstream culture, elite culture and popular culture. The dual problem of inner conflicts and outside invasion in the process of our current cultural construction is the primary challenge for domestic cultural ecology in contemporary China. In this article, we propose that we need to follow the following principles in order to optimize the cultural ecology in the new area. They are the unification "of centralized value and diversified development, of integration and innovation and of economic benefit and social benefit".
