  • The social stability risk by the NIMBY facilities is escalating, which has caused lots of adverse effects to project construction, economic development and social operation. Based on studies which show that people's risk behavior is closely related to the psychology, this paper focuses on both individual and group level and takes anxiety as the core to analyse the mechanism of the Social Risk of NIMBY Project, and propose targeted preventive measures on the "chain of events" theory,such as relieve public anxiety from sources of risk, identify risk behaviors and prevent the secondary effect of social stability risk.
