Abstract:
The creativity of liberal arts graduate students at universities of science and engineering not only has general characteristics, but also has its uniqueness. Taking Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics as an example, the study adopts the method of principal component analysis to empirically analyze the determinants on creativity of liberal arts graduate students at universities of science and engineering. It is found that research participation, internationalization are the determinants to influence the cultivation of creativity in liberal arts graduate students. For the cultivation of creativity of liberal arts graduate students in science and engineering universities, great importance should be attached to the implementation of incentive policies, more attractive trans-disciplinary courses, more involvement in international cooperation and better academic and learning environment.
