Abstract:
Constructing an integral defense economy that has an independent armament produc tion ability is a basic goal of various powers. While the Defense is non-produc tive, the various powers seek for the optimization model combining the civil and defense industries. In light of the long practice of the various powers, it is no doubt that the dual-use strategy is the optimization model to realiz e the effective economic resource distribution. To compete with other powers, Ch ina, as a newly rising power, should think of something from the various powers to construct a national economic and scientific innovation system that integrate s defense economy into civil economy, and on the basis of armament procurement r eform, realize the dual-use strategy through defense organization rebuilding an d defense industry transformation.

Based on the four index replacement samples from 2002 to 2004, the pap er has examined the price effects and trading volume effects of SSE180. Standard ized residual method solves the problem of clustering in event study. The result s show that both additions and deletions respond to the replacement information. The additions have positive and permanent abnormal returns while the negative a bnormal returns of deletions reverse in the following 30 days. The asymmetric pr ice effects of additions and deletions can be explained by investor awareness an d market segmentation hypothesis.

Abstract:
In a complex product development project, interdependent relationships in tasks are the main characteristics, which induce product development schedul ing to become more difficult. The design structure matrix (DSM) can resolve the problem. A new DSM model is designed based on the traditional DSM model and entr opy by the paper. According to tasks' duration and iterations, a further schedul ing model is reconstructed. The model is applied in a mechanical product develop ment project. The result suggests that the DSM model is more convenient in the r eal development process than the traditional DSM model, and is able to give more specific guidance to the development process.
Abstract:
Urbanization is an objective historical course. In this course, along with our country's further economic development and the further deepening of ref orm and opening to the outside world, in modern metropolis, village culture, ci ty culture, the various ethnic cultures and external cultures make together one picture of multi-cultures on the one hand, and on the other hand, the increasi ngly synchronization of these cultures through various conflicts also makes the metropolitan cultures take on a unified tendency. The "multi-" and "uni-" in the metropolitan cultures seem contradictory. Actually, it embodies the integ ration of the metropolitan multi-cultures.

Deepening the reform of the state-owned aviation scientific research institutes is still an important strategic assignment in the 11th Five-Year Plan. Based o n an investigation, the author points out that, as a result of the reform of th e state-owned aviation scientific research institutes, the "one institution t wo systems" is indeed positive, but on the other hand does have a lot of proble ms and contradictions. When we carry on the commercialized reform in the state- owned aviation scientific research institutes, the scientific classification of the institutes is the basic point, and the "one institution two systems" is th e transitional type of reform. At the same time, creating a series of good polic y environment for the reform is necessary.

Central government and local governments differ in government performance, which can influence the rank differentiation of government legitimacy level according to public psychology. There are two influencing mechanisms: the spatial-tempor al separation between decision performance and executive performance, m anagement of public crisis. By virtue of the two mechanisms, the public tend to think that central government performs better than local governments do. Thus ce ntral government can obtain more legitimacy from government performance than loc al governments, which may intensify and expand the rank differentiation of gover nment legitimacy level.
Abstract:
The space legislation of China originated from the late 20th century. The pace of Chinese space legislation quickened obviously since the issue of the White Paper entitled China's Space Activities. Compared with the other major gr eat powers in the space field, the space legislation of China somewhat lags behi nd. With the rapid development of Space technology and industry in China, the pr oblem of legislation lag will be even more obvious. At present, China may consum mate its space legislation by means of separate legislation stage by stage, but China should formulate an integrated space code, namely Space Activities Act of China, as occasion serves.

Punish recidivists with increased sentences is explicitly promulgated in many countries' penal codes. However, in China, no full concern has been give n to the fact of high rate and cruelty of crimes committed by recidivists. Abstract:
The aggravated punishment and the heavier punishment in the People's Republic of China has gone through a zigzag course. We continued the legistation of the aggravated punishment in the primary stage of new China, and began to es tablish the heavier punishment. We abolished the aggravated punishment in 1979 c riminal code, and resumed it in a special criminal law after a short time , and abolished it again in 1997criminal code, so, only the heavier punishment was pre served. The mitigated punishment as a law system should be regulated positively. We must prescribe the aggravated punishment again.

Through comparative analysis of IP-ownership laws and policies of the state inv estment R&D projects in US, Germany, Japan and Taiwan, this paper discusses some possible IP-ownership issues in existence. Then it continues to point out the possible solutions to have a clear ownership under different situations such as service invention-creation and non-service invention-creation, under-contrac t and non-contract, etc. On the basis of analyzing the legislation tendency in dealing with in IP-ownership disputes and contradictions in state R&D investm ent projects, the paper suggests in the end that the national laws or policies s hould play a bigger role in effectively encouraging the nation, collectives and individuals to create more IP-production.
Abstract:
Yu Dafu and Kuriyamura Hakumura were theorists of Literature and Art of almost t he same times. They had similar views on such issues as the origin of literature and art lying in the gloom in one's heart of hearts and the basic technique of expression of literature being self-expression. Meanwhile, there's some differe nt standpoint on the realization of the relationships between writings and circu mstances. The similar and different cultural backgrounds and conditions between China and Japan account for those resemblances and differences.
Abstract:
The poetry by John Donne, a representative of the Metaphysical School in England in the 17th century, is unique in style, original in imagery, fantas tic in conceits, and the similarities between the tenor and the vehicle in the m etaphors are hard to be perceived. Donne's fantastic style lies mostly in the de licate metaphors. According to the traditional rhetorics, metaphor is a rhetoric al device used as an "ornament", the similarities between whose tenor and vehi cle are confined to the analysis of the lexical meaning. Donne's metaphors are d oubtlessly "far-fetched" and "absurd" to tailor to this theory. The Interac tion Theory by Dr. Richards declares metaphor is the "interaction of thoughts" instead of the transferring of lexical meanings. This theory is forceful in exp laining Donne's metaphors, which induces this paper to try tentatively to analyz e the metaphorical meaning of the "circle imagery" in Donne's love poems.
Abstract:
Research on Post-colonial related problems is cropping up in the field of human ities recently, which is a huge and complicated system and covers many categorie s including society, politics, history, culture and so on. Post-colonia l theory with its cultural and political criticism guides the study of translati on to a more general context of social politics, culture and ideology so that tr anslation is granted with more realistic meaning. Compared with enormous researc hes on post-colonial problems, little is known about its influence on translati on theory. By analyzing the influence that post-colonial theory exerts upon tra nslation theory, this article aims to point out that Chinese translation study n ot only should be rooted on tradition but also be incorporated with leading west ern thoughts.
