Transfinite Interpolation Grid Generation with the Application of B Spline

    Abstract
  • A grid generation method by applying B spline curve lines and surfaces to transfinite interpolation approaches is suggested. Numerical results demonstrate that detailed information about geometry shape can be included and so the method can be used to different complex geometries. Discussions are also made about how to adjust the boundary tangential vectors and the inner-point-array which forms a skeleton of the final grids. The results show that this method can generate high quality grids.
