Analyses of the Complexity and Self-organizing Evolution in Co-petition

  • Viewing the complexity of co-petition relationship between enterprises, this paper discusses the basic conditions of self-organizing evolution of market system. In the effect of complex co-petition, market self-organizing as an ordinary complexity system also requires some basic conditions, namely, system opening, far from equilibrium, nonlinearity and fluctuation. It is on these analyses that the authors base their argument that the technology, knowledge, culture, law are order parameters dominating the self-organizing evolution in co-petition. Besides, the authors also illustrate the evolutionary process by drawing on the self-adaptive model. At the end of this paper, the authors present the strategies for firms in the hyper-competitive environment to cope with the complexity.
