Abstract�� An improved reconfigurable method for spacecraft attitude control system was designed by the eigenstructure assignments. For a kind of linear system, not only the closed-loop eigenstructure was recovered but also the cost function of the reconfigurable controller was improved based on the output feedback eigenstructure assignments. The method guaranteed the stability of the reconfigured closed-loop system in the presence of output feedback which is capable of dealing with order-change problems that may occur in an after-fault system, and the performance of original system was recovered to a maximum extent. Simulation results were provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
