Fault-tolerance operation of brushless DC motor for flight control

摘要: 双重绕组无刷直流电动机构成的双通道机电作动系统(EMA,Electro-Mechanical Actuator),当一个通道故障时可以采用容错运行方式.分析了电动机在双绕组工作与单绕组工作时的机械特性、铜损耗与允许转矩.对样机的机械特性试验曲线分析可知,在相同的电压条件下,两种工作方式的机械特性有相同的理想空载转速,但容错工作时因负载产生的转速降将增大1倍.在功率损耗不变的条件下,容错工作时电动机的允许电流为额定值的1.4倍,允许转矩为额定值的0.7倍,通过样机的温升试验数据充分验证了这一点.探讨了双绕组运行时的电流均衡控制方法以及容错工作采取的措施,并用仿真曲线分析了容错工作方式下的动态性能.Abstract: The operation of a brushless DC motor with dual-windings for the flight control system was described. The dual-channels electro-mechanical actuator (EMA) is composed of the motor, the fault-tolerance operation mode can be obtained when any channel is failure. The mechanical characteristic, power losses and allowed torque of the motor were analyzed at two cases of normal and fault-tolerance operation modes. From the experimental mechanical characteristics curve, it can be obtained that the no load speeds of two operation modes are same under the same voltage, but the speed drop in the case of the fault-tolerance operation is greater than the normal operation because of the load. Holding the power loss not changed in the case of fault-tolerance operation, the motorallowed current is 1.4 times of the rated current and the allowed torque is 0.7 times of the rated torque, these were validated by the temperature experimental data. The balance control of the dual-windings operation and the control method of the fault-tolerance operating were researched, the dynamic characteristic of the fault-tolerance operation was simulated.
