Walkthrough and Interaction Technology for Virtual BUAA

摘要: 提出了虚拟北航校园场景数据库的层次结构,给出了基于碰撞检测的模型控制面场景调度控制方法,实现了冗余建模数据删减、纹理映射、多级层次细节模型三种场景复杂度消减策略,着重讨论了基于标准二维输入设备的实体选择算法并实现了对受限运动实体的操纵,最后简要介绍了一个通用的、与模型无关的漫游引擎框架结构的实现.Abstract: A layer construction of scene database for virtual BUAA(Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) campus has been put forward, a paging algorithm based on model control planes has been provided, three scene complexity simplification strategies of redundant modeling data simplification, texture mapping and multiple LOD(Level of Detail) models have been realized. Much attention has been paid to discussing the picking approaches of virtual entity based on the standard two dimension input device and manipulation of restricted moving entity has been realized. And finally a brief introduction has been made to the realization of general walkthrough engine frame work which has nothing to do with models.
