Influence of adhesive properties on tensile behavior of scarf repaired laminates

摘要: 利用非线性三维有限元模型,对挖补修理复合材料层合板的拉伸破坏行为进行研究,计算结果与试验结果吻合良好,证明了所建模型的有效性.在此基础上,分析了挖补修理层合板的拉伸破坏机理,以及胶粘剂力学性能对挖补结构拉伸性能的影响.最终,总结出挖补修理复合材料结构胶粘剂选用原则以及理想胶粘剂的性能特征.研究结果可为复合材料结构可修理性设计,以及挖补类复合材料层合板端面对接用胶粘剂的研制提供参考.Abstract: Tensile failure behavior of scarf repaired composite laminates was studied with non-linear three dimensional finite element modeling. The finite element method(FEM) results are in good agreement with the testing results, which verifies the established model validity. Based on it, the tensile strength of scarf repaired laminates was calculated and the failure mechanism was analyzed. The influence of mechanical properties of the adhesives on the tensile behavior of scarf repaired composite laminates was studied. Finally, the principle of adhesive materials choosing for a scarf repaired composite laminate and the ideal adhesive-s characters were concluded. The results can provide references for the repairable design of composite structures, as well as the research and development on adhesive materials for scarf repaired composites with butt joints.
