Numerical Prediction of Moduli of 3-D and 4-step Braided Composites

摘要: 对三维四向编织复合材料的参数化建模技术进行了研究,提出了一种"米"字型枝状体胞的计算模型,较为真实地模拟了该材料的细观结构;在此基础上讨论了相应的边界条件和约束条件并应用有限元方法计算了该材料的纵向、横向弹性模量.通过与实验结果的对比可见,计算结果的预报精度较好.Abstract: The parameterized modeling technology for three dimensionally and 4-step braided composites is studied. First, the ""-type model of a representative unit cell is presented for FEM numerical prediction, which more really simulates the inner meso-structures of the materials because of considering the interactions of them. Then, the boundary conditions and constrain conditions of the unit cell model are discussed and the longitudinal and transverse elastic moduli and Poisson-s ratio of the materials are obtained by FEM calculation. Finally, the predicted results are compared with those of experiments, and it is showed that they are in good agreement with each other.
