Calculation and analysis of electric-powered helicopter flight performance

摘要: 在传统直升机飞行性能计算方法的基础上,结合电动系统的特性和直升机总体设计的特点,提出了电动直升机主要飞行性能的算法,并分析了电动系统特性参数和直升机气动布局、总体参数等变量对飞行性能的影响.以某小型无人直升机为例,计算和比较了该机电动化改装前后的主要飞行性能.算例结果和分析表明:相对于油动直升机,电动直升机受目前电动系统技术的限制,其续航时间和航程较短,但升限较高;微小型直升机的电动化比轻中型直升机更具有优势和潜力.该算法适用于电动直升机的总体设计和参数选择,也可为油动直升机的电动化改装提供一定的理论指导.Abstract: Based on the traditional method, a calculation method of electric-powered helicopter flight performance was proposed, which combined with the features of electric-power system and the characteristics of helicopter preliminary design. The influence of different variables and parameters on flight performance was analyzed. By taking a small-scale helicopter as an example, the flight performance before and after was calculated and compared. The calculated results and analysis show that electric-powered helicopter with short endurance due to battery technology limitation has higher ceiling. Compared with light and medium helicopter, micro and small-scale helicopter have a lot of advantage and latent capacity. This method is applicable to electric-powered helicopter preliminary design and parameter selection, which is also significant for helicopter.
